The Kemper High Temp Wire is a great general purpose support wire that can be used for various sculpting applications, including armature for figurative sculptures, loops for hanging Christmas ornaments, and even for making kiln stilts for glazing small pottery. The wire is easy to twist and shape using needle-nose pliers. Though it can be used for firing at cone 05 temperature and can be used multiple times, it will eventually degrade over time and with higher firing temperatures. However, it may not be suitable for embedding in clay or being reused in a bead rack. The product has received positive reviews for being exactly what was expected and working very well for fusing glass projects and creating kiln stilts. However, one user reported that it flopped over and lost its strength when fired at a very hot cone 6 temperature.
