Shade 5.5 is a fashion shade in the primary Tinta Color range, offering up to 4 levels of lift and 100% grey coverage when mixed with a natural shade. The formula is powered by Triple Color Protection — Solamer UV Protection shields hair from environmental damage, LP 300 Color Stabilizer ensures long-lasting color retention, and Silk Protein repairs and nourishes color-treated or damaged hair. Tinta Color uses a coconut-derived Cocamide cream base that protects the scalp from staining while providing a creamy, pearlescent texture that allows for easy mixing and seamless application during the color service. The Tinta Cream Developer contains LP 300, which causes pigments to bind more effectively into the hair structure and protects it throughout the coloring process, resulting in a long-lasting hair color. Hair that is in better condition stays vibrant longer as pigments become locked into the hair structure, and the improved condition is immediately visible and felt after rinsing. This shade is ideal for professional colorists and salon-savvy clients seeking a warm, dimensional mahogany-brown result with the reliability and conditioning performance of a Dutch-engineered, salon-proven formula. How to Use Using a 1:1 ratio, mix 60 ml of Tinta Color 5.5 with 60 ml of Tinta Cream Developer (3/6/9/12% — 10/20/30/40 Vol.), then apply to dry hair using your desired color technique. Allow to process for 30–40 minutes, then add warm water and massage the color from the scalp using fingertips before rinsing thoroughly. For optimal color retention, follow up with Tinta Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
