The Fieldpiece HS33 Expandable Manual Ranging Stick Multimeter is a great multimeter for HVAC basis troubleshooting. It allows you to check ohms, volts, MFD, and amperes. However, it does not have a backlit display. The HS36 model by Fieldpiece does have a backlit display. It is not able to measure motor RPM or test millivolts. It also does not measure micro amps, but it can test flame sensors. Overall, customers have had positive experiences with this multimeter and find it to be of great quality.
