Stromberg Carlson Steps SMFP-1220 Editorial Review
The Stromberg Carlson Manual RV Step with 24 W Triple and Radius Treads has received varied feedback from customers. Some found it to be a great addition to their RV or camper build, mentioning that it worked out great, was well built, and functions as intended. However, there were instances where customers had to do some modification and welding to the step's bracket due to the lack of frame rail near the entry door. The steps were praised for being sturdy and supportive, even with heavier weights. On the contrary, there were complaints about poor welding, with the step breaking in two places for some users. One customer had to bear the cost of repair and the product did not line up with existing holes, creating the need for extra drilling and hardware. Quality control issues were also reported, with some customers receiving steps in less than perfect condition, including scratches and paint drips from the factory.
