Answer: The tool has 6 dies of 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1/0 (0)AWG, which works on 0ga. -

Does this make uniform hex crimps as shown in the photos or leave an uneven tab sticking out?
Answer: On the smaller gauge lugs it made a nice even hex crimp. On the #4 and #2 lugs it did make a nice even hex crimp but once side had a very slight tab of less than a 1/16 inch. It didn’t matter to me as I used heat shrink tubing with the mastic inside to seal each connection. You cannot tell there’s a slight tab on the one side. -
