Arnott Coil Springs Editorial Review
The conversion kit appears to be a popular solution to air strut failure issues in certain S Class Mercedes models. The kit only works with airmatic and not active body control vehicles. Customers appreciated the durability and ease of installation of the product, as well as the fast shipping time from the seller. The ride quality remains as good as the air system, without the risk of getting stranded. The only complaint was that the rear strut's plastic coil cover hit the tire and caused wear. It was noted that the rear shocks were side-specific, which was important to keep in mind during installation. There were no comments on the module or the dash alerts. Some customers commented on the low cost compared to dealership repairs, with one customer stating that the dealer had quoted $6500. However, there was one customer who reported that their front suspension was too low, and needed a $120 separator to make it even.
