Hurst Shifters 1144580 Editorial Review
The Hurst 1144580 B-4 Shifter Boot and Plate Kit is a universal boot that can be adapted to fit most manual or automatic shifters. The boot measures 5-1/4 in. x 6-1/2 in, but if you need a larger size, the Hurst Super Boot and Plate Kit #1147494 is available. It's easy to install and gives a classic, nostalgic look to any Tremec 5spd installation. Customer reviews have been mixed, with some expressing disappointment in the quality of the product, stating that it only lasted a month. Others have praised the quick delivery and described the product as exactly what they ordered, and easy to install. Some have also mentioned that the boot began to tear after only a few shifts, but this was expected as they were using it on an older vehicle.
