This Kefir Fermenter comes with kefir grains and has an enlarged container with a strainer basket that is easy to clean and use. The lid has tiny pin holes for air, making the best kefir one would ever make with this jar. One can use store-bought milk, and it can be used for water kefir as well. However, the kefir cage is 120cc, not visible for multiplication but adds about 5% to the biomass each batch. The customer service is good and quick, but the lid does not fit a wide-mouth mason jar.
