It is an effective alternative to DEET, providing long-lasting protection without the greasy feeling. This insect repellent is especially beneficial for outdoor activities like camping or hiking, where encounters with insects are common. -
Question:
Is OFF! Clean Feel Insect Repellent safe for children?
Answer: Yes, OFF! Clean Feel Insect Repellent is considered safe for use on children over two months old. The non-toxic formula and fragrance-free property make it suitable for family use. It’s advisable to reapply as needed, especially during high-insect activity or after swimming or excessive sweating. -
Question:
Is this insect repellent fragrance-free?
Answer: Yes, OFF! Clean Feel Insect Repellent is specifically designed to be fragrance-free. Nutritionist's Take
OFF! Clean Feel Insect Repellent, containing 20% Picaridin, provides effective, DEET-free protection against mosquitoes, ticks, and flies. From a nutritional standpoint, insect repellents do not offer direct health benefits or nutritional value, as they are not ingested. However, the use of a product that is free from DEET can be favorable for individuals concerned about potential skin irritation or toxicity associated with traditional repellents. The fragrance-free formulation is also beneficial for those with sensitivities to strong scents. Potential drawbacks include skin reactions in sensitive individuals, although these are generally rare. Overall, while this product does not contribute to nutritional health, its DEET-free composition makes it a safer choice for outdoor activities, reducing the risk of insect-borne illnesses, which contributes positively to overall health.
OFF! Sprays IBRR0646-OFF! Editorial Review
The insect repellent has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, particularly for its user-friendly properties and effectiveness against insects. Users appreciate its lightweight texture and the absence of a sticky or greasy residue, making it pleasant to apply even on sensitive skin. This feature is especially beneficial for parents using it on young children, as many have reported using it successfully without fear of overwhelming scents that could irritate or disturb their kids. The product's notable fragrance-free nature has also been highlighted as a major plus, further enhancing its appeal for outdoor activities where an objectionable smell would be a downside. Customers have frequently mentioned their satisfaction with its performance, noting significant mosquito protection during outdoor events like baseball practices and evening activities, where bugs are oftentimes problematic. While some users mention it might not be 100% effective against all insects, they feel reassured by the satisfactory results they've experienced. The ease of application, with a simple spray that covers a large area, has been commended as well, contributing to an overall feeling of cleanliness and comfort while using the product. In summary, this insect repellent is well-received for its effectiveness, gentle formulation, and user-friendly qualities, making it a top choice for those looking for a reliable solution against outdoor pests without the typical downsides of other sprays. **
