NYX Professional Makeup Liquid Foundation Editorial Review
The NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation has garnered a highly positive reception from customers, particularly for its versatility and impressive finish. Users with varying skin types, including those with dry skin and light complexions, have praised its ability to provide coverage without the dreaded orange undertones that often accompany many foundations. The foundation's buildable formula allows users to achieve their desired level of coverage, from a light to medium finish, making it suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions. Many customers have noted the importance of applying a primer before using the foundation to enhance its matte finish and longevity. Remarkably, it holds up well throughout the day, requiring no touch-ups and resisting clumping, which is a significant advantage for those looking for a low-maintenance makeup routine. The lightweight texture of the foundation, likened to an airbrush finish, has been particularly highlighted as a refreshing change from heavier, thicker foundations, allowing the skin to breathe while still providing solid coverage, especially for concerns like acne scarring. While the foundation is lauded for its performance and user-friendly application—often with beauty sponges or brushes—some customers have mentioned that the bottle's size may not be sufficient for regular use, potentially making it a less cost-effective option for those who use foundation daily. Overall, the NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation appears to be a flexible and highly effective product, especially favored by those with fair skin tones and dry skin types seeking a dependable, buildable foundation that maintains a true color throughout the day. **
