- Dr. Martens Unisex 1460Z DMC 8 Lace Up Red Smooth Leather Boots Shoes Doc New Dr. Martens boots and shoes have become icons, recognised worldwide for their uncompromising looks, durability and comfort. This style embodies all that is true and unique to Dr. Martens.- 8 eyelet 1460 Boot- Smooth is the classic Dr. Martens leather; durable, with a smooth finish- Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, oil and fat-resistance, offers good abrasion and slip resistance- Made with Goodyear welt, the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together Dimensions (based on UK size  4):Heel height: 29mmShaft height: 160Platform Height: 12mmCircumference: 230 CONSTRUCTIONThis is a Goodyear-welted product using PVC for the welt. The upper and sole are sewn together, not merely glued, like many footwear constructions. This, together with our Z welt-stitch and heat-sealing process, makes it unique to Dr. Martens. This is the only construction that is stitched on the outside and helps footwear take the shape to the foot.  The welt is chain stitched to the upper and insole. The outsole is then sewn to the welt around the edge and then heat sealed.  This is the sturdiest and most complex of all constructions.MATERIAL Airwairs original signature leather: a firm, finished leather with a smooth, semi bright appearance.  SOLEThe original Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, providing underfoot comfort and durability since 1960. It is oil- and fat-resistant, tough and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.CARE INSTRUCTIONSSmooth = Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry and apply correct colored wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired.  Use BLACK POLISH on Black smooth leather and CHERRY POLISH on Cherry Red smooth leather.  All other smooth leathers should use NEUTRAL POLISH.Shipped direct from Melbourne, Australia. 100% AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED
