However, the plastic parts of the headset appear to be cheaply made, causing them to break easily and unexpectedly. Several reviewers complain of plastic parts breaking off or cracking after just a few months of use, with stress fractures at obvious stress points. Additionally, users have reported experiencing strange static noises and various technical difficulties such as disconnection due to static electricity. Although some reviewers seem to have had no issues with these headsets, overall, the majority report issues with poor durability and Construction, leaving some hesitant to invest in Mad Catz products in the future.
