GrimmSpeed Pulley Tools Editorial Review
The Grimmspeed Crank Pulley Removal/Install Tool has received a mixed but mostly favorable reception from customers who have used it on various Subaru models. Many users appreciate its quality Construction and ability to simplify the crankshaft pulley removal process, avoiding damages to both the vehicle and the user. Reviews highlight the tool's effectiveness, as it can manage well in tight spaces when maneuvering is necessary and when using additional leverage equipment, such as a breaker bar or a vice. Customer experiences note the significant benefit of the accompanying instructional videos, which many found invaluable when learning how to utilize the tool effectively. However, there are concerns regarding the tool's design, particularly about the nonmetallic washers that protect the pulley during installation; they can be challenging to handle post-installation. Some users have experienced issues with the bolts bending during use when adequate care wasn't taken to keep the tool flush with the job, leading to frustration over usability. Nonetheless, those who were able to follow the instructions and apply the right techniques enjoyed successful outcomes in their projects. On balance, while the tool may have its learning curve and design limitations, it is still Considered a worthy investment by many DIY mechanics, particularly for those working on Subaru vehicles. **
