Pressman Board Games Editorial Review
The Pressman Checkers game is a classic offering that appeals primarily to families and younger players. Reviews depict a mixed but generally positive reception among customers, especially when Considering the product's price point. Users have noted that while the overall quality may not be exceptionally high, it is adequate for children, making this set perfect for younger players looking to learn and enjoy the game without a hefty investment. The checkers pieces are light, which has drawn criticism for being a bit too flimsy, affecting gameplay and stacking. However, this lightweight characteristic also makes them easy for small hands to handle, which younger children appreciate. The folding board design is a practical feature for travel, although some users have indicated that it can be somewhat flimsy and not as durable as desired. Many customers affirm that the game serves its purpose well for family fun, suitable for all ages from kids to adults. The general sentiment is that while the components might not be the highest quality, they are reflective of the affordable price, making it a reasonable choice for casual play, particularly with young children.
