Answer: OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate is designed for a variety of cleaning and disinfecting tasks. It effectively eliminates 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, making it ideal for both residential and commercial use. The product not only disinfects surfaces but also eliminates odors, leaving behind a pleasant eucalyptus scent. Question:
How do you dilute OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate for different cleaning tasks?
Answer: To use OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate, it is essential to dilute it according to the task at hand. For general disinfection, mix one part concentrate with 32 parts water. For tougher odors or heavily soiled areas, a stronger solution can be used. Always follow the dilution ratios specified on the label, and ensure you apply the solution to the surface and allow it to sit for the recommended dwell time to ensure effective disinfection. -
Question:
Is OdoBan Disinfectant safe for pets and children?
Answer: OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate is generally safe when used according to the manufacturer's instructions. After cleaning, make sure surfaces are rinsed and dried before allowing children or pets to come into contact. The eucalyptus scent is derived from natural sources, making it preferable for those seeking a cleaner that doesn’t leave harsh chemical odors behind. Always prioritize ventilation during use for optimal safety. -
Question:
Can I use OdoBan on fabrics and carpets?
Answer: Yes, OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate can be used on fabrics and carpets, especially to eliminate deep-set odors. Before applying it, always conduct a spot test on a small, inconspicuous area to check for colorfastness. For fabrics, mix OdoBan with water in a spray bottle and mist lightly. Allow it to dwell and then blot with a clean cloth. This makes it an excellent choice for sanitizing upholstery and rugs in high-traffic areas. -
Question:
Does OdoBan Disinfectant remove odors caused by smoke or pets?
Answer: OdoBan is highly effective at neutralizing tough odors, including those from smoke, pets, and other persistent smells. Its formula works by targeting odor molecules, breaking them down and eliminating the source rather than just masking the scent. Use it in areas such as living rooms after entertaining guests or in spaces where pets frequently reside to maintain a fresh environment. -
Question:
Is OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate suitable for food service environments?
Answer: Yes, OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate is suitable for use in food service environments. Nutritionist's Take
OdoBan Disinfectant Concentrate is primarily a cleaning and disinfecting product rather than a nutritional one. While it is effective in eliminating odors and disinfecting surfaces, nutritionists do not typically assess such products for nutritional value since they are not intended for consumption. The product claims to kill germs and bacteria, which can contribute to a healthier living environment. However, potential drawbacks include the presence of synthetic fragrances and chemical ingredients that may cause respiratory irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. As OdoBan is not a food product, its suitability for dietary needs is irrelevant but it’s important to consider its application in homes with individuals who have health concerns related to chemical exposure. Overall, keep this product away from food preparation areas to avoid any inadvertent ingestion or contact.
