It can fit a 2008 Honda Civic Si only if the button and shape are the same as the original. The product doesn't come with a battery and doesn't have a chip. However, according to customer experiences and reviews, it seems that the remote's transponder sits far away from the steering column, making it unable to detect the transponder reader, which prevents the engine from starting. The packaging expects the PCB to have a notch in one of the upper corners, but the OEM key has no notches, and the buttons are different; therefore, the OEM keys don't fit the plastic housing. To fix the issue, customers need to take the transponder out of the valet key and place it in the open space to the right of the flip key. The product has good quality and works fine, but it needs an OEM logo to make it a perfect replacement.
