The hat has a retention string, but it tends to tear easily. The reflective part of the hat flakes off quickly after use and does not stand up to washing. The yellow band can come unsewn after six or more months of use. The hat is great for running and Construction workers who need high visibility wear. It does not fit well and is either too small or too large for some people. The hat is breathable, keeps sun off the neck and eyes, and is quick-drying. On the downside, the hat is made of poor quality cheap plastic and it does not fit people with a hat size of 7.25 (71/4) or larger.
