The product is easy to install and makes the speaker sound like it is installed instead of just being hung. It helps reduce the sound transference to the upstairs but does not completely eliminate it. The boxes provide a dramatic improvement in the sound quality of speakers and make them sound more like a bookshelf speaker. It can make your home theater rival a walk-in movie theater experience. The DynaBox can fit through an 8-inch opening and is a heavy molded rubber/silicone that is not bendable or moldable to fit in a tighter space. The DynaBox is not a silver bullet and is a bit expensive for what it does. Before cutting the speaker hole in the ceiling, you should get as close as you can to the center point between joists.
