Answer: I am using this fuse for a 12 V system in a truck so I use 12 V in my description, the fuse amp is rated at 140 Amp up to 32 volt and is made with that much tolerance E=I X R Any higher voltage the rated blowout will change. -

Answer: Yes, this will fit a 2001 dodge ram 1500, make sure you tighten the connector down very very well, I had an electrical fire on my fuse panel because I did not tighten the connector down strong enough.
