How wide is W? My son should wear orthopedic insoles and in standard wide shoes he does not fit
Answer: I would say the shoe is wider in the middle. My sons wear the same sizes, but my oldest son has a wider foot and it fits him well! I hope that's helpful. I totally love these shoes! They look comfortable, and easy to to clean. -

Please are these shoes suitable for sudden rainy days?
Answer: My son uses it as school shoe and wears it all time round. The sole is rubber and could not take in water. The upper part is of somewhat leather and may not endure constant exposure to rain. So if it is just for an accidental encounter with rain, it is good, but definitely not a rain boot / shoe. -
