The Tiltaing Matte Box is a well-built, top-tier product with interchangeable front mattes that act as lens shades. It can be used on a variety of cameras including the A7III, however, it does not work with 4x4 filters or include 110mm backing. The product comes with several “backs” for different lens diameters for convenient adaptation to different cine lenses. The folding top flag and a series of hard mattes for different focal lengths also come with it. The metal filter holders and three stages offer the user optimum functionality. It's a bit heavy, so it might not be an ideal option for run-and-gun, but it's good for balanced battery use. It's an arri-quality matte box that performs excellently for the price paid. Unfortunately, there is no rotating stage to make it more convenient for polarizers.
