If you are looking for the best antifreeze for heavy-duty trucks, Chevron Delo ELC Antifreeze and Coolant can be an excellent choice. It has a higher boiling point of 265°F and a potent additive package that ensures smooth engine functioning. Although the product is meant for commercial heavy-duty vehicles like semi-trucks, it can also be used in natural gas engines and gasoline-powered cars after following all the guidelines. However, it is not suggested to use the product in older Powerstroke engines as it may deteriorate injector cup material. Delo XLC is another highly recommended product that supersedes Delo ELC. Despite being a bit costly and nitrite-free, XLC is a better formula that is suitable for newer diesel engines manufactured after 2010.
