One of the great things about this set is that you can cook the cheese fondue on your stove top and then transfer it to the Sterno setup for serving. The fondue pot is coated for easy clean-up, and the forks and fondue pot are dishwasher safe making it easy to clean. This fondue set is not electric, but it has a rechaud that uses gel fuel. The set does not come with the fuel, so you need to buy it separately. The set works great with gelled fuel, and you can cook meat in it too.
